In a world that is in constant flux, volatile and rather chaotic as the one in which we presently live, I say we need to draw upon the gentleness that we possess as we interact with everyone in our networks. The quality of being calm, kind, or soft. The Cambridge dictionary, defines gentleness as Gentleness draws upon and reveals an inner strength that is based on love, consideration, and humility. To be truly gentle requires one to be strong. If this is the case, you could not be more wrong. When you see or hear the word, gentleness, what comes to mind? Weakness? Being a pushover? Lacking conviction? This is the eighth in the series exploring simple, yet powerful, qualities that are not usually discussed in relation to the business world, and how becoming more aware of and putting them into practise, could provide positive support during these turbulent and challenging times in 2020.
